Women

"Studies of a female body" are not the best of my work and I would do some things differently if I were painting them now. The first one is a self portrait and called Miia. I gave it to my grandmother for her 70th birthday, because she liked it so much. The second one is called Tiina and the last one is Tarja. Paintings Tiina and Tarja were gifts for their boyfriends' 30th birthdays.

"Naisvartaloita" En pidä kyseisiä töitä huippuhetkinäni, tekisin joitakin asioita hieman toisin, jos maalaisin ne uudelleen. Ensimmäinen on omakuva eli nimeltään Miia. Annoin työn isoäitini 70-vuotissuntymäpäivälahjaksi, koska hän piti siitä niin paljon. Toinen työ on nimeltään Tiina ja viimeinen Tarja. Annoin työt Tiinan ja Tarjan poikaystävien 30-vuotissyntymäpäivälahjoiksi.

Eemilin uni - Eemil's dream

"Eemil's dream" is a portrait of my god son. He was around 2,5 years old that time. He really fell asleep like that and her mother took a photo. I wanted to add night sky behind him and the constallation of his astrological sign Cancer. Eemil got the painting for his third birthday.

"Eemilin uni" on muotokuva tuolloin n. 2,5-vuotiaasta kummipojastani. Hän oli nukahtanut tuohon asentoon ja äitinsä nappasi valokuvan. Halusin ikuistaa tilanteen kankaalle. Maalasin taustalle yötaivaan ja siihen hänen horoskooppimerkkinsä ravun tähtikuvion. Eemil sai maalauksen 3-vuotissyntymäpäivälahjaksi.
